PRODUCTION OF BULKY SILK SPUN YARN AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively produce a bulky silk spun yarn, enabling the production of a woven fabric having good thickness, swollen touch and bulky soft cashmere- like feeling, capable of adjusting hot and cold temperatures in summer and winter by the air held in spaces and accordingly suitable for outer clothes use, and to provide an apparatus for producing the bulky silk spun yarn. ;SOLUTION: Suction air is discharged from one of the inner side surfaces of a substantially closed chamber. An air flow line substantially reaches at least around a yarn inlet port 2 of an air injection processing apparatus 1 fixed in the chamber. Cleaning air, which has been adjusted so as to enable the blowing of fly, is ejected, and a raw yarn consisting of silk spun yarn is fed into the air ejection processing apparatus 1 by means of the cleaning air ejection. The yarn is treated so as to have bulkiness by circulating flow of the introduced ejection air, and comes out from a yarn outlet port 3 of the air injection processing apparatus 1.
