AIDING MEMBER AND METHOD FOR PASSING CABLE THROUGH CABLE BRANCH BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to pass a cable through a cable branch box through simple work with less hands. ;SOLUTION: An aiding member 20 for cable passing work is placed at one corner inside a cable branch box 10; the aiding member 20 has a projected curved guiding surface 20c that connects two cable ports 10a, 10b of the cable branch box 10 together when the aiding member is installed in the box. With the aiding member 20 installed, an end of a cable 16 is inserted into the cable branch box 10 through one cable port 10a, and is led out of the cable branch box 10 through the other cable port 10b. At this time the end of the cable 16 is pulled while the intermediate portion of the cable 16 is in contact with and is being slid on the guiding surface of the aiding member 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
