PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to accurately process a material in the longitudinal planer cut regulating mechanism for a rectangular double planing machine. ;SOLUTION: A front guide moving oblique surface 24a is formed at the right side of a longitudinal planer body holder 24. A front guide 21 is brought into contact with the surface 24a. The holder 24 and the guide 21 are held by a bolt, and a screw 28 is threadedly engaged with the guide 21. The lengths of the cutting edges 21b, 22b of the guide 21 and a rear guide 22 are formed the same as the height of a longitudinal planer blade. Thus, at the time of processing, a material is effectively supported by the edges 21b, 22b to suppress the thrashing due to the cutting reaction of the longitudinal planer blade.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
