REPAIRING MATERIAL FOR CAVITY IN TREE OR TIMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tree-repairing material which contains an epoxy resin as a major component and a polymer foaming with the heat of the curing reaction of the epoxy resin as a sub-component, shows high adhesion to living trees to inhibit the invasion of rain water or decay fungi thereby efficiently repairing the cavity of trees or timbers. ;SOLUTION: This repairing material contains (A) an epoxy resin as a major component, and (B) a polymer foaming with the heat of curing reaction of the component A such as a polystyrene beads previously foamed or unfoamed one, a viscous material such as paper powder and an inorganic mineral such as pearlite as minor components.
