PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity, durability, waterproofness and fire resistance by practicing repairing of hollow parts or defective parts of trees.;SOLUTION: A rod part 2 in hollow part or defective part of a tree is removed to practice certain degree of reform, and then, the affected part is disinfected and a waterproof resin 3 is applied to the surface of wood and, after drying the resin 3, a lightweight mortal 4 obtained by adding an admixture of an acrylic polymer or a latex-based polymer to cement and a lightweight aggregate is blown to the interior or defective part or the mortal 4 is applied thereto by a trowel and the mortal is packed into small hollow parts to carry out repairing of hollow and defective part of the tree. In some cases, a net 6 (made of a metal or a plastic), high strength steel or ordinary reinforcing bar 5 is installed in the lightweight mortal 5 or a fiber 8 is mixed into the mortal 4 to increase tensile strength of the mortal 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
