CONCENTRATION-DISCHARGE METHOD FOR WET TYPE FLUE-GAS DESULFURIZATION ABSORPTION LIQUID SLURRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge gypsum corresponding to the capacity of desulfurization as constantly concentrated slurry by a method in which the concentration of extracted slurry is measured continuously, and the slurry is discharged outside a system and circulated into a compartment. ;SOLUTION: A compartment 13 for concentrating gypsum is formed on the side wall of an absorption liquid slurry tank 2. An extracting pump 4 for extracting concentrated slurry from the compartment 13 and a concentration meter 17 for detecting the concentration of the slurry extracted by the pump 4 are provided. A control valve 20 which makes the discharge piping side 21 select the destination of the slurry whose concentration was measured by the concentration meter 17 and an adjuster 18 for controlling the operation of control valves 19, 20 on the basis of the detection signals of the concentration meter 17 are provided. In this way, since the slurry of insufficient concentration is recycled into the compartment 13 to be concentrated to a necessary concentration, the slurry can be concentrated efficiently to be discharged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
