PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-protocol router bridge for an industrial network and the multi-protocol communication system between media distributed to two remote stations apart from each other. ;SOLUTION: In each of multi-protocol router bridges 11, 12 for an industrial network, an exclusive interface circuit for various protocols and having a means to assign and identify a special channel number of each protocol and a control use microcontroller sending logic information for each frame are coupled. In the multi-protocol communication system, an exclusive interface circuit for various protocols in existence between media distributed to two remote stations apart from each other, including a single support and having a means to assign and identify a special channel number of each protocol and a control use microcontroller are coupled. At the tip of the support, the single support couples again the two stations and the router bridges 11, 12.
