PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor powder painting method dispensing with cleaning work at a time of the replacement of a color, not requiring toning paint of respective colors and unnecessary for increasing the number of booths corresponding to the number of required colors. ;SOLUTION: In a method for applying painting of predetermined colors to a work (article to be coated) 10, at least two or more paint supply controllers 12, 13, 14 capable of supplying powder paints with an average particle size of 5-25μm of mutually different fundamental colors by predetermined quantities under control are parepared and the fundamental color powder paints are supplied to an electrostatic gun (electrostatic painting device) in a predetermined ratio from the paint supply controllers 12, 13, 14 and a predetermined ratio mixture of fundamental color powder paints are emitted to the work 10 from the electrostatic gun to be bonded thereto to perform baking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
