DETECTION OF STANDING-UP OF PRODUCT IN THERMAL CUTTING-OFF WORK AND THERMAL CUTTING DEVICE USED TO THE SAME METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the collision of a product to a thermal cutting work head by detecting whether the product is stood up or not and this position in a thermal cutting-off work device. SOLUTION: In the thermal cutting-off work device providing a work table 5 arranged plural needle type supporting body 25 and the thermal cutting work head 13 freely positioned relatively to the work W supported with the needle type supporting body, detecting lights 31 of a photoelectric sensor (29) are put up as grate-like on the whole range at the upper part approached to the surface of the work W supported with the needle type supporting body 25 on the work table 5. It is detected that a part of the product SP cut with the thermal cutting work from the work cuts off the detecting lights, and the standing-up of the product have been subjected to the thermal cutting work and the standing-up position are detected.
