COMMUNITY ROAD OF HOUSING COMPLEX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the calmnessand safety of a housing complex without impairing the convenience to use a car by restricting intrusion of other cars not related with the housing complex. ;SOLUTION: On a community road 1 of a housing complex, a pedestrian zone 13 and a car intrusion restrictive zone 14 are partitioned by car stop piles 11 and planter 12. The restrictive zone 14 is equipped with a planting space 15, and there also a pillow-shaped projection 16 is formed, which is as tall as admitting get-on and passage of the wheels 3a of a car 3. The space 15 and projection 16 do not hinder physically the car from passing but constitutes an obstacle for nornal running of car 3, so that necessary cars such as an emergency vehicle are admitted, while passing-through of other passenger cars, etc., unrelated with the complex can be restricted effectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
