FISH NEST BLOCK WITH GRASS PLANTED

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the environment more plentiful with natural traits by changing simply the landscaping and bio-system of a waterside which is surrounded by concrete through revetment works. SOLUTION: Steel bars are installed in a side wall structure to form a cylinder element where the cavity 3 is directed verticall and a cylindrical block body 2 of concrete is is constructed. In the upper part of the block body 2 a planting mat 9 is installed for rooting of aquwtic plants. At the skirt part of the peripheral wall a plurality of underwater passage holes 6 are provided penetrating the cavity 3, while a plurality of waterside passage holes 7 are provided penetrating the cavity 3 at a level the same as or above the level where the planting mat is installed, and a plurality of such blocks produced are laid in line at the waterside of a river.
