LEAKAGE SEARCHING DEVICE AND LEAKAGE SEARCHING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a leakage searching device to reduce noise from collected voices and shorten a working time through easy extraction of leakage water and improve searching precision and to provide a leakage searching method. ;CONSTITUTION: A leakage searching device is formed in such a manner that pickups 4a and 4b are attached to spray faucets 3a and 3b branched from a buried piping 1 and exposed to a ground and microphones 8 to capture noise and vibration, propagated through air, from a noise source 5 are juxtaposed in the vicinity of the pickups 4a and 4b. Further, the leak searching device comprises a voice phase inverting device to invert a phase of environment noise collected by the microphones 8 in a 180°; and a voice synthesizer to synthesize a voice collected by the pickups 4a and 4b and environment noise the phase of which is inverted. Leak noise collected by the pickups 4a and 4b and noise and vibration propagating through air from the noise source 5 are synthesized with environment noise, which is collected by the microphones 8 and the phase of which is inverted in a 180°, by a voice synthesizer.
