PURPOSE:To make automatic loading normal and to prevent a magnetic head from being abraded and a film surface from being damaged by providing a head retreat means and keeping the film surface and the magnetic head from coming into contact with each other at the time other than the time of writing or reading out information. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic loading(AL) action is started, a head bottom plate 1 and a presser bottom plate 12 are retreated in a direction that they separate from a film 56. When an exposing action is finished, the head bottom plate 1 and the presser bottom plate 12 move, so that the magnetic head 10 is brought into contact with the magnetic storage part of the film 56, and rollers 3 and 5, 14 and 16 are pressed to the surface of the film 56 so as not to sag the film 56 with specified force, then the magnetic head 10 is driven through a magnetic recording circuit 109 to write the desired information in the magnetic storage part. In the case of detecting that the winding of one frame is finished, thereafter, the head bottom plate 1 and the presser bottom plate 12 are restored. Thus, such a trouble that the automatic loading is not normally performed, that the magnetic head is abraded or that the film surface is damaged by the magnetic head is prevented.
