PURPOSE: To obtain a detection mechanism for overs and shorts of a package coin capable of eliminating the influence of a burr and wear, etc., by directly detecting the number of accumulated coins. ;CONSTITUTION: The piled number of coins can be counted essentially by counting the boundary line of the coin in the package coin M by a boundary line counter part 8. Thereby, a comparator part 10 can accurately judge the overs and shorts of the coin in the package coin M.
