PURPOSE:To determine regenerating time of a filter certainly and precisely by detecting that a diesel engine is idling-rotated, and providing a monitor means for detecting a regenerating time in output of a pressure sensor only for an idling period. Since pressure loss generated between the front and rear of the filter 1 in the idling condition is in monotonous function relation with a collected dust amount, it is judged that the collected dust amount is also in a limit amount showing the limit of screen function, when the pressure loss reaches a limit value.
