In the water bath, the pipe (1) is connected to a plurality of nozzles (4) over which at least one impact plate (27) is provided. A column (6) of static mixing members (30, 31, 32), surrounded by a sheath (7), is located above these impact plates (27). A dry separation stage is located above the water bath and the column (6), which consists of an annular disk inlet separator (8) and an annular disk-shaped agglomerator (9). The inlet separator (8) and the agglomerator (9) are flowing one after the other through the air exiting the column (6) and in the opposite direction to each other and are both formed from static mixing elements.
