The present invention is directed to new nucleoside monophosphate derivatives of lipid ester residues of general formula (I) CHEM wherein R1 may be a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain having 1-20 carbon atoms, R2 may be hydrogen, a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain having 1-20 carbon atoms, X represents sulfur, a sulfinyl or sulfonyl group;and Nucl. represents 2',3'-Didesoxy-2',3'-difluorothymidine 2'-Desoxy-2'-aminoadenosine 2'-Desoxy-2'-azidoadenosine 2'-Desoxy-2'-azidocytidine 2'-Desoxy-5-fluorouridine 2-Fluoro-2'-desoxyadenosine their tautomers and their physiologically acceptable salts of inorganic and organic acids and/or bases, as well as to processes for their preparation, and to drugs containing said compounds.
