The present invention relates to a universal corner joint, of sectional modular construction, for sheet steel secondary frames of door and window frames. The sectional joint in question comprises a pair of brackets, each formed from two identical wings, of rectangular shape, orthogonal to each other, and a modular set of spacer elements, to be interposed between the aforesaid brackets, each consisting of a plate, also of rectangular shape, having dimensions and a profile such that it can be connected in the form of a male or female connector to one of the wings of a bracket.
