A deadman brake assembly incorporating a turnover spring ina link mechanism thereof to exert a spring force in a directionin which a seat supporting plate is kept in a state it enterswhen a driver sits on the driver's seat and to exert the springforce in another direction in which the seat supporting plate islifted when the driver leaves the drive's seat, suppressing asmuch as possible the lifting force acting on the driver's seatwhen the driver sits thereon.
