A ball valve for use in a pipeline comprising a closure member defining a passageway that is moveable from a closed position for blocking fluid flow to an open position for permitting fluid flow. The closure member having a moveable seal carrier. The valve having a main handle for moving the closure member angularly about an axis and an auxiliary handle for moving the seal carrier radially with respect to the axis. A link mechanism is located internally within the closure member to translate the seal carrier radially relative to the axis according to movements of the auxiliary handle.
