Disclosed are N-heterocyclic compounds of the general formula (I) as well as their salts and N-oxides, in which the variables are as follows, and the R?1 to R26¿ groups, independently of one another, are hydrogen, cyano, nitro, halogen, aminocarbonyl, methylsulfonyl, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy, alkoxy halide, alkylthio, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, or optionally substituted aryl, aryloxy or heteroaryl; m is 0, 1 or 2; Alk is optionally substituted 1,2-ethylidene or 1,3-propylidene; X is oxygen, sulfur or -N(R5)-, R5 being hydrogen, alkyl or cycloalkyl; Q is optionally substituted aryl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl or arylalkyl; excepting (a) compounds V1 to V26 in which A = A1 and R4 = H, (b) compound I in which A is the N-oxide of A1, with R?1, R2, R3, R4¿ = H, m = 2, Alk = 1,2-ethylidene, X = -O-, Q = phenyl, and (c) compounds I in which A = A2 and at the same time m = 0. Disclosed also are intermediate products used to prepare these compounds, agents containing them and their use in antifungal applications.
