The magazine according to the invention comprises means (14) for extracting the packs (3) of packaging sheets and forwarding them to a subsequent processing machine (5), such as a cigarette packaging machine; means (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, M) for moving the extractor means (14) along each layer of the stack (4); and means (21, 23) for gripping the separating sheets in combination with means (26, 28) for unloading them into a collecting container (25).
