The present invention relates to a process for producing a PZN-PMN-PT composite solid solution which can be used as a base material such as a thermal image sensor, a gas spectrum analyzer, an infrared ray alarm and a fire alarm, and a PZN-PMN-PMN-PT composite solid solution having excellent pyroelectric properties by controlling the calcination condition and sintering condition as well as the ferrovosite phase formation easily using the columbite method, PMN-PT composite solid solution having PZN of 42 to 48%, PMN of 28 to 32% and PT of 20 to 30%, which is easy to form and has excellent pyroelectric properties.
