Since there is no output, it is not possible to watch the broadcast signal that was previously viewed, and there is a hassle of switching the broadcast channel again to confirm this. According to the present invention, when a channel for channel switching is input and the broadcasting channel is switched, the PIP function is operated to process and output the broadcast signal of the switched channel as a main screen until the program of the ongoing channel is completed and output the broadcast signal of the channel being viewed.
