CHARGE-EXCHANGE RESERVOIR OF INSTALLATION FOR HYDRAULIC TRANSPORTATION OF LOOSE MATERIALS

FIELD: mining industry, civil engineering, metallurgy, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: charge-exchange reservoir has housing with bottom plate. Branch pipes installed in upper portion of reservoir are connected to transported material feed pipelines and reservoir replaceable liquid pipeline. Branch pipe for downflow delivery of liquid with flow swirlers is connected to pressure water conduit. Upflow hydraulic mixture discharge branch pipe is installed coaxially with conduit and connected to main pulp line. End faces of branch pipes are arranged in lower portion. Bottom plate consists of two mated portions. Periphery portion mated with housing side walls has curvilinear surface. Central portion has geometry of surface limiting swirling zone of recirculation currents. EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to creation of conditions for delivery of material into transportation pipeline at maximum and uniform density and prevention of formation of dead zones of accumulated material. 6 cl, 4 dwg
