FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: diesel-hammer is used for construction of foundation bases. Energy of blows, their frequency and alteration of blows of different energy during sinking of pile depend on its interaction with ground. Diesel-hammer has even number of striking members, control device which is adapted to formation of striking mass from striking members of various combination but with resultant force of their weight directed along axis of anvil block of diesel-hammer. Also provided is energy accumulator in the form of spring with cross member for orientation of resultant force of dynamic loads along axis of anvil block. Control device accommodates electromagnets for possible fixing of each striking member, and switches for selecting number and combination of striking members and combining electromagnets in compliance with selected striking members.
