Roller blind in which at the end regions of at least one slat (2) a locking catch (8) is arranged which with slats (1 2 3) linked together lies within the elongation of the profile of the slats. With the slats pushed together a surface of the roller blind rail (14) which guides the slats is pressed against. The locking catch is pivotably mounted in the region of the lower edge of the slat (2), preferably on the upper edge of the slat (3) lying immediately below. The locking catch has a slope in working contact with a slope (11) of the slat (1) lying immediately above.
