The polishing- or cleaning pad for floor treatment, is fitted to the holder of a polishing- or cleaning machine. It comprises a main body of spun plastic fibres, or a natural fibre with binder. The inventive feature is the embedding of microcapsules containing a fragrant material, in the fabric. Pref., the pad has identifying markings, and the microcapsules are embedded in the binding agent.
