The bin comprises a preferably cylindrically-shaped container (1) secured to a wall or the floor. The lid (2) can be secured onto the bin. A slot (3) is present in the side of the bin. Preferably the lid of the bin may be used as an ashtray. Locks (4,5) are used to secure the lid in place and secure the bin against the wall.
