Dynamic fire extinction medium application e.g.for automatic fire extinction system

A process for dynamically applying a fire extinguishing agent is designed in such a way that once the fire extinguishing installation is automatically triggered in the event of a fire, the energetic, material and spatial evolution of the fire, as well as its interaction with the fire extinguishing agent, are continuously sensed during the whole extinguishing process and a locally determined number of spatially distributed ejectors of fire extinguishing agents that need to be opened to apply the fire extinguishing agent are selected depending on the sensed evolution of the fire and of the fire extinguishing process. This allows the fire extinguishing effect of a water volume to be taken into account in a particularly advantageous manner, thanks to a logical and correct distribution of the fire extinguishing agent in time and space. The disclosed device is designed as a spatially distributed network of valves and ejectors of fire extinguishing agents which are at least partly analogically controlled.
