An device for baking foodstuff, such as a waffle iron, has a housing in two parts. To bake three-dimensional shapes, one housing section (1) has a set (2) of negative moulds and the other housing section (10) has a set (11) of positive recesses to take the dough. Both sets (2, 11), with their positive and negative structures (3, 12) are brought together to grip into each other.
