The device includes a panel (1) which is movably mounted on the rear tubular supports of a football goal. The panel is formed from a number of individual panels (3). Each of the individual panels has a flexible section with a rear contact, with a housing containing a light source. When a football aimed at the goal hits the individual panel, the rear contact is set. The individual panel light is switched on to indicate that the football has hit that section.
