PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the size and weight of a transportation tank by housing the lower section of a contained structure of the tank in a lower transportation tank and connecting and fixing the upper section of the structure to an upper transportation cover and, at the same time, fixing the upper transportation cover to the lower transportation tank with bolts or by welding. ;SOLUTION: A U-shaped iron core 5 is hung down in a lower transportation tank 9b and the lower section of a contained structure 4 is firmly fixed to the tank 9b with bolts 19b. Then a gasket 15 is attached to the upper surface of the tank 9b and a liner 14 is attached to the top of the structure 4. In addition, an upper transportation cover 10b is put on the tank 9b fitted with the gasket 15 and the cover 10b is firmly fixed to the upper section of the structure 4 with bolts 13b. In addition, the cover 10b is connected and fixed to the tank 9b with bolts 16. Therefore, the height of an iron core transportation tank can be reduced, because the structure 4 also works to reinforce the bottom of the tank 9b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
