PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the denaturation and browning or the like of protein even under heating and to keep the green color by suspending chlorophyll- containing fine materials, basic compound and saccharides such as non-refined sugar or the like in water and attaining alkaline pH. SOLUTION: This suspension is obtained by suspending the chlorophyll- containing fine material, the basic compound which is the sintered compact of a calcium-containing material originated from animals and at least one kind of the saccharides selected from the unrefined sugar, molasses and blackstrap molasses in the water preferably in the mixing ratio of 10:0.1 to 0.3:0.2 to 2.0 by a weight ratio and turning pH to 8.5-10.
