PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a computing overhead by using a sled valid to both the listening and processing of a request in an object-oriented operating system based on a distributed client/server. ;SOLUTION: A sled valid to both the listening and processing of a request in an object-oriented operating system based on a distributed client/server 10 is used. That is, in a distributed client/server 10, plural sleds are present at both a client side and a server side in a transport layer 38. At the client side, the sled transmits a request for a service, and operates the listening of response to the request for the service.
