Highly active detergent compositions containing oleoyl sarcosinate for improved solubility

A detergent composition having improved solubility in aqueous laundering solutions is provided. More particularly, the detergent composition contains at least 10 % by weight of a surfactant system containing one or more surfactants selected from the group of alkyl sulfates, alkyl ethoxy sulfates, secondary alkyl sulfates and mixtures thereof, and an effective amount of oleoyl sarcosinate for improved cleaning performance and solubility in aqueous laundering solutions.
