PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a three thread plaited braid as a yarn for a woven fabric at a low cost in high productivity. ;SOLUTION: This device for braiding three threads has fixed outer shells 6 and 7 having 8-shaped slit, a cylinder rotating interior of the outer shell 6 and 7 and three hollow spindles arranged at a distance on the rotating circumference. The spindles are formed to move in the 8-shaped slit. The center of the outer shell 6 and 7 has a hole for threading a thread. Source threads are set on the spindles, threaded from the holes of the spindles through the interior of the cylinder to the hole of the outer shell 6 and 7 to pull out from the hole. Three threads are set as same as the above. The objective three thread plaited braid is obtained by rotating the cylinder and winding up the three threads.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
