PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus, capable of readily and accurately changing the opening of a metering valve according to operations different from metering operations of a metering lever for operating the metering valve by installing a tip lever unit in a specific state in a base lever unit supported so as to enable the shaking. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus for metering of a knapsack type sprayer is obtained by making a metering valve 5 perform opening and closing operations through an interlocking member 14 by shaking operations of a metering lever 6, installing a tip lever unit 6B having an operating part 60 slidably supported on a base lever unit 6A of the metering lever 6 supported so as to enable the shaking and connecting the interlocking member 14 to the end on the opposite side of the operating part 60 relatively to the supporting position of the tip lever unit 6B on the base lever unit 6A. Thereby, the opening of the metering valve 5 relatively to the shaking angle of the metering lever 6 can be changed by sliding operations of the tip lever unit 6B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
