PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unnecessary opening of a sliding door closed once, and to manufacture a sliding-door fixedly holding device simply at low cost by forming a recess, into which a sash sheave is dropped, at a place, where the sash sheave is placed at the time of the closing of the sliding door on the top face of a rail. ;SOLUTION: When a sliding door 4 under an open state is closed, sash sheaves 10, 11, 12 are placed on the inner side faces, gently inclined sections 13a, 14a, 15a, of recesses 13, 14, 15 when the right side end of the sliding door 4 is abutted against the side frame of a box body 1. Consequently, the sash sheaves 10, 11, 12 are fitted into the recesses 13, 14, 15 even when the sliding door 4 is closed at high speed or even when the box body 1 is rocked. Since the sash sheaves 10, 11, 12 are put on the gently inclined sections 13a, 14a, 15a, the sliding door travels to the left and is not opened. When the sliding door 4 is opened, the sliding door 4 is drawn slightly to the left side, each sash sheave is slipped off from the recesses, and the sliding door 4 is pulled to the left. Since the residual two sash sheaves are placed on a rail 3a when the sliding door 4 is passed on the recess 14 at that time, the sliding door 4 is passed smoothly. Likewise, the sliding door 4 is passed smoothly on the recess 15 when the sliding door 4 is further moved to the left side.
