PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of a process on a specified processor memory module by selecting a processor memory module having the maximum free capacity of memory at the time of selecting processor group for operating the process. ;SOLUTION: A processor memory module which is assigned to the process is selected by a pointer 4510 to the processor memory module management table of a process management table 4500 for the process requesting memory assignment. Its free memory amount is computed from the memory assigning amount counter 4060 of the selected processor memory module management table 4000 and memory capacity 4070, and the relation between the free memory amount and the requested memory amount is checked. If the free memory amount is equal to or larger than the requested memory amount, the memory of this processor memory module is assigned to, and the memory assigning amount counter 4060 is corrected according to the memory amount assigned here.
