METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRINTING AND DISPLAYING FOREIGN LANGUAGES INCLUDING ENGLISH SCRIPT AND ARABIC USING COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to display and print characters which are connected by lines even when the respective characters of a language having a font wherein characters are connected by lines are individually inputted. SOLUTION: For a combination of two inputted adjacent characters to be connected, a group 9 of pairs of end points of characters for various segment representation including curves in respective characters characteristics of each combination and connections between characters, coordinates of a group 10 of dots for interpolative calculation, degrees characteristics of curves of a least square polynomial curve group 11 connecting other information and the group 9 of pairs of end points, and information on coefficients when necessary are used to connect connection end points on an arithmetic unit of a computer by least square polynomial curves by using a method of the least squares.
