PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress hue streaks by a method wherein one line is divided into specified numbers in the sub-scanning direction to make sub-lines and on each line, one dot print is formed on either one of sub-lines and thereby, a quasi-angle is provided on dot arrangement and is recorded and this print recording pattern is made different on each color. SOLUTION: One picture element in image constitution is divided into e.g. four in the sub-scanning direction and dots are arranged to make sub-lines. In addition, print recording dots are arranged at positions being successively shifted by one sub-line in adjoining lines in the main scanning direction. Namely, they are formed like dots a, e, i and m in the first to fourth lines and they are arranged on the same line in each main scanning direction by a dot interval of four sub-lines like dots a, b, c and d of the first line. In addition, one cycle is constituted by eight dots a, b, e, f, i, j, m and n. This one cycle is repeated successively both in the main scanning direction and in the sub-scanning direction to arrange the dots in the whole region (one screen of Y) of a printing region corresponding to the image data.
