PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method to distribute spacer particles between planes of electrode substrates or the like of a liquid crystal display device facing each other so that the spacer particles are uniformly distributed while particles are not excessively covered with a resin component. ;SOLUTION: By this method, a dispersion liquid of spacer particles is applied by screen printing on at least one surface of planes to be disposed facing each other. The dispersion liquid consists of (a) 90 to 30wt.% of org. solvent having 0.01 to 0.02 N/m surface tension measured at 25°C and (b) 10 to 70wt.% spacer particles. Then the org. solvent is vaporized and the planes are disposed facing each other. Thus, spacer particles are distributed between the substrates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
