PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operable remaining time predicting device capable of accurately predicting and displaying how many hours an operating machine can operate for the rest and executing a rational oil supply. ;SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 12 inputs the fuel residual amount Q of a fuel tank 5 from a computing element 11 and measuring the fuel residual amount Q for almost every one hour, and computes a fuel consumption amount being a difference between a measurement values at the last time and at this time. Then, the arithmetic unit 12 computes a difference between fuel consumption amounts at the last time and this time (the variation amount of the fuel consumption amount), and stores the frequency (the number of times of generation) of the variation amount. The operable remaining time is the sum of above- mentioned fuel consumption amount and a value of that a probability of generating the variation value is multiplied by the variation amount of the fuel consumption amount, and the fuel residual amount Q measured this time is subtracted from that sum.
