CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF INPERVIOUS REVETMENT OF SEASIDE PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an inpervious revetment to the minimum required amount before a seaside plant is operated by adopting a block in which coal ash which is control type industrial waste generated in the seaside plant is mixed. ;SOLUTION: A block 4a is manufactured by mixing coal ash generated due to the operation of a thermal power plant, cement, and sea water, placing the mixture in a mold, and vibrating it until electrical resistance value of the mixture is reduced. Next, a spacer is installed in the sea temporarily, and the blocks 4a are conveyed and piled up on its both sides by using a crane. When they are piled up, GPS is adopted to perform their positioning accurately and easily. Then, the crane travels on a block bank 4 of which construction is completed to extend it. A spacer in a section in which construction is completed is pulled out, and at the same time, a steel sheet pile 5 is driven down to a non-transparent layer as a water shut-off plate. This work is repeated in accordance with an amount of coal ash. Consequently, it is possible to carry out the inpervious revetment work together with the operation of a seaside plant and utilize waste effectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
