PURPOSE: To obtain a method for molding an article, such as automobile parts, furnitures, building materials, or sundry goods, provided with a foamed plastic sheet laminated on a hard synthetic resin structure having a projected and recessed part of esp. a large height difference or an acute-angled or right-angled form. ;CONSTITUTION: In the molding of an article provided with a foamed plastic sheet 8 laminated on a thermoplastic synthetic resin structure having a projected and recessed part, a slit or punched part 6 is provided in the foamed plastic sheet 8 in the vicinity of a position corresponding to the projected and recessed part. The foamed plastic sheet 8 is inserted in a mold having a projected and recessed part. A melt thermoplastic synthetic resin is made to exist in a mold cavity to be integrally molded with the sheet under pressure and heat.
