PURPOSE: To enable the massive multiplication of Osmia cornifrons by disposing beehives in a field for producing the seeds of a Cruciferae crop, further disposing hive-nesting materials in the field, and subsequently releasing the hibernated imagoes of the Osmia cornifrons in the field. ;CONSTITUTION: Beehives and hive-building materials such as ditch reed tubes, bamboo tubes or artificial hives developed for the Osmia cornifrons are disposed in a field for producing the seeds of a Cruciferae plant such as a Brassica plant or a Raphanus plant. The hibernated imagoes of the Osmia cornifrons are then released in the field. After their hive-building activities are finished, a large amount of the descendants are obtained.
