PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene enabling crops to be imparted with resistance to Colletotrichum higginsianum. PSOLUTION: A DNA listed in either one of (a) to (e) described below is provided. A vector having the DNA, a transformant and a transformed plant each having the vector, and part of or a growing material for the transformed plant, are also provided, respectively. (a) A DNA encoding a protein comprising a specific amino acid sequence. (b) A DNA containing an encoding domain of a specific base sequence. (c) A DNA encoding a protein having an amino acid sequence where one or more amino acis are substituted, deleted, inserted and/or added in the amino acid sequence. (d) A DNA hybridizable with a DNA comprising the base sequence under stringent conditions.
