摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel DNA segment which codes a protein that contains no protein connecting in nature and has topical homology to cultured cell growth factor originating from human hepatic carcinoma cells, and is useful in production of this analogous proteins. ;SOLUTION: This is a novel DNA segment coding a protein having topical homology to the cultured cell growth factor originating from human hepatic carcinoma cells and codes the protein represented by the formula, its allelic or species variant protein or polypeptides including at least five sequential amino acids, and is used to produce protein having high homology to the cultured cell growth factor originating from human hepatic carcinoma cells. This DNA segment is obtained by screening mouse testis cDNA by the colony hybridization using a probe partially having the structure of human HDGF cDNA and recovering the DNA from the positive clone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
