PURPOSE: To provide a light quantity adjustment device in which a return spring for supplying force in a direction where an aperture blade is closed is not used and in which a stator is firmly and stably arranged, whose size is small and whose weight is light. ;CONSTITUTION: A rotor 1 is constituted of a magnet part 1a, and 2 turning shaft 1b. The one end of a stator yoke 2a is joined to the one end of the stator 2b. A bobbin 4 has the terminals 4a and 4b of a coil 3, and a cap 5 has a bearing 5a, coil terminal inserting holes 5b and 5c, positioning holes 5d and 5e, pinching pieces 5g-5j, a magnetism detecting element attaching hole 5f, and a flexible substrate hooking piece 5k. An arm 6 has a projecting piece 6a, and a base plate 7 has the bearing 7a, positioning projecting pieces 7b-7h, pinching piece engaging grooves 7i-7o and an arm moving window 7p. The aperture blade 8 has turning center holes 8a-2 and 8b-2, and sliding long hole 8a-1 and 8b-1.
